Xitens delivers its VPS (Virtual Private Server) services using Linux KVM virtualisation. KVM stands for Kernel-based Virtual Machine and is one of the most popular and fastest Linux kernel virtualisation technologies available today.
This Linux KVM virtualisation technology enables us to offer exceptionally fast and reliable VPS plans.
Our Dell nodes are equipped with powerful Intel Xeon processors and at least 768 GB of memory. For maximum availability and reliability, we use a high-availability Ceph storage cluster with all-enterprise SSD storage.
The VPS nodes are housed in our own racks at Databarn, a TIER III-certified data centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which is ISO 27001:2013 certified.
You have full control over your server. From the control panel, you can start, stop, shut down and even reinstall your server. Your Linux server is accessible via SSH or noVNC. If you can no longer reach your server normally, you can always access it through noVNC.
We offer various operating systems for your VPS server, including VPS templates with a pre-installed base version of Linux.
